
Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Markets)
Objective
The main motive of the Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Markets) at L. S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce (Autonomous) is to inculcate the desire to acquire knowledge in Financial Markets, create an environment conducive to the same, and empower students to have a successful future in Financial Markets.
- LSRC provides comprehensive knowledge to equip students with a solid understanding of global financial markets, including equities, debt, derivatives, and foreign exchange.
- Students receive comprehensive training via various lectures, sessions, projects, and workshops.
- The BFM Stockers’ student association promotes leadership and teamwork through active participation in departmental activities focused on finance, investments, and community service.
- Peer-to-peer discussions enable students to gain diverse perspectives on investment strategies.
In this manner, we foster a mindset of continuous learning and professional growth alongside providing access to the latest knowledge and tools in use globally; this ensures students stay adaptable in an ever-evolving financial landscape to encourage lifelong learning and adaptability.
Eligibility
R. Adm./BAF/2024-BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (FINANCIAL MARKETS) (B.F.M.) (amended, May 2025)
To be eligible for admission to the degree program in Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) / Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Markets) / Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Insurance) shall have passed 12th Class Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in all the subjects in one and the same sitting with 55% (admission under open category) or 45% (admission under all other categories as applicable) of marks in aggregate.
*Please note: There is no separate in-house student quota / admission category for this program.
