Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance)

Objectives

An Autonomous institute affiliated with the University of Mumbai, L. S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce (Autonomous) trains students to be proficient professionals in Accounting & Finance, and works towards benefitting the larger industry by providing a steady stream of trained executives.

Accounting and Finance undoubtedly forms the crux of any business institution, right from its inception stage. Employers invest a lot of their energies in getting the proficient professionals to maintain their account books and financial statements to make crucial money-related decisions.

The B.A.F Department is dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in Accounting and Finance.

Our program is designed to prepare students to face real-world challenges and excel in their professional journey confidently. The program aims to:

• Inculcate confidence to grab opportunities in this stream
• Provide a thorough understanding via practical approaches and an exposure of the corporate arena
• Train students for their future corporate image using modern technology under the guidance of specialized faculty

Eligibility

R. Adm./BAF/2024-BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (ACCOUNTING & FINANCE) (B.A.F.) (amended, May 2025)

To be eligible for admission to the degree program in Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) / Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Markets) / Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Insurance), a candidate shall have passed 12th Class Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in all the subjects in one and the same sitting with 55% (admission under open category) or 45% (admission under all other categories as applicable) of marks in aggregate.
