The Department Objective Is To Motivate All Students To Actively Participate In Physical Sports In Order To Develop Spirit Of Sportsmanship, Teamwork And Leadership Among The Students. Participation In Sports Also Helps Promote The Physical And Mental Wellbeing Of The Students. The Department Encourages Student To Compete And Participate In Various Sports Disciplines At The University, Zonal, State And National Levels.

Pyramid Event in the All India Inter-University Mallakhamb Championship

We are proud to announce that our student Mr. Mayur Pashte, a National Champion, represented the University of Mumbai and won a Gold Medal in the Mallakhamb Team Event and Bronze Medal in the Pyramid Event in the All India Inter-University Mallakhamb Championship, as well as a Gold Medal in the Khelo India University Game.

Our student Ms.Yashashree Sachin Surve (FYBFM) represented the University of Mumbai in the West Zone Inter-University Chess Tournament conducted by SAM Global University, Bhopal, and won 3rd place in the Team Chess Event. She will represent the University of Mumbai at the All India Inter-University Chess Tournament.
