Financial Awareness Fair (14th August 2024)
The Financial Awareness Fair, which was conducted on 14th August 2024, was a huge success. The aim of this activity is to create awareness about various investment plans and to understand how to manage finance. Volunteers arrange various informative stalls such as finance based fun games, stock market knowledge, various investment plans and their returns, how to do market analysis, etc. The participants visited all the stalls to learn valuable information along with some fun activities.

Clean-up Drive after Ganpati Visarjan (21st September 2024)
The Clean-up Drive after Ganpati Visarjan at Juhu beach on 21st September 2024 was a huge success. Volunteers from all walks of life came together to clean up the beach and restore its natural beauty. The event was a shining example of how collective action can make a positive impact on the environment. The organizers were grateful for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the participants.

First Term Training Program (26th October 2024)
The First Term Training program on October 26th 2024 featured a dynamic and insightful talk by Dr. Shrima Banerjee. Dr. Banerjee's expertise and experience in the field of Population Education Club Extension Work of DLLE, provided invaluable insights to the attendees. Dr. Banerjee helped participants to plan various activities for the academic year and also guided them to write Project report efficiently.

Voters Awareness Rally (7th November 2024)
The Voters Awareness Rally was organized on 7th Novomber 2024 to promote voter education and encourage active participation in the upcoming elections. Participants were engaged in poster making, rallying and demonstrating use of voting machine. The rally aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voting, understanding candidates, and the impact of each individual's vote on local and national governance.

CPR Training Workshop (2nd January 2025)
The workshop on "CPR Training" was organized on 2nd Jananuary 2025 in collaboration with Revive Heart Foundation (iCARE), Holy Family Hospital, Bandra (W). The workshop aimed to provide participants with hands-on training and essential knowledge on how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) effectively in emergency situations. The session focused on teaching life-saving techniques and ensuring that attendees felt confident and prepared to handle CPR patients.

Street Play - World Data Protection Awareness Day (28th January 2025)
The Street Play on the occasion of "World Data Protection Awareness Day" was conducted on 28th January 2025. Volunteers performed street plays to raise awareness about personal data protection. The street play was performed in college turf and Juhu Garden, Santacruz (West). This activity helped students to build confidence and to improve their communication and vocal skills.

Poster Making Competition (5th - 7th March 2025)
The Poster Making Competition was conducted from 5th to 7th March 2025. It was aimed to raise awareness about pressing social issues through creative expression. Participants were encouraged to create posters that highlighted a variety of social challenges, such as environmental sustainability, education, gender equality, mental health, poverty, and more. Through art, the competition highlighted the role of creative expression in driving social awareness and change.

Short Film Screening and Discussion (7th March 2025)
The Short Film Screening and Discussion activity conducted on 7th March 2025 was a huge success. Volunteers arranged the Devi short film for this screening activity. This film focuses on female rights and mental health. After screening, volunteers conducted a question-and-answer session to raise awareness on social issues.

Quiz Competition - "She-ores" (8th March 2025)
On the occasion of "International Women's Day" we organized a quiz competition titled "She-ores" on 8th March 2025. The aim of this activity was to generate awareness of various women's rights and to promote gender equality.

Best Out of Waste Activity (10th March 2025)
The Best Out of Waste activity was a successful initiative, conducted on 10th March 2025. This activity was aimed to not only showcase creativity and innovation but also emphasized the importance of sustainability. This activity encouraged creativity and environmental awareness by transforming waste materials into useful, artistic, and functional items. The participants prepared a craft out of waste and presented the ideas.

Rally - "Zero Food Waste: Rallying for Food Safety" (12th March 2025)

The "Zero Food Waste: Rallying for Food Safety" title on 12th March 2025 was a great success. Participants gathered early in the morning to begin the rally in the Relief Road, Santacruz (West). Volunteers created posters and slogans for the rally. This event was aimed at generating awareness on food wastage.

2nd Term Training Program (27th March 2025)
The 2nd term training program held on March 27th 2025 was an enlightening and engaging event, with Dr. Shrima Banerjee as the keynote speaker. Dr. Banerjee, an acclaimed expert in her field, shared valuable insights and practical tips on the latest trends and developments in the industry. Participants were given a unique opportunity to learn from Dr. Banerjee's wealth of experience and were inspired by her passion for the subject matter. The event was a resounding success, with attendees leaving with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

ACHIEVEMENTS

UDAAN Festival - University of Mumbai (23rd January 2025)
Achievements: DLLE students participated in the prestigious UDAAN Festival, an inter-collegiate event organized by the University of Mumbai at SIES College Of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous), Sion (West) on 23rd January 2025. A total of 20 students from the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) took part in various events, showcasing their skills and talents across multiple categories.

Key Achievements of DLLE Students in UDAAN Festival 2025: Mr. Ayush Borde from TYBAMMC secured 2nd Rank in Elocution Competition Ms. Nupur Ture from FYBBI secured a consolation prize in Poster making Competition FY and SY B.Sc.(IT) team secured a consolation prize in Street Play competition
